I develop code with creativity
You know when you wake up and it’s still too early to call it morning, but your mind has started to grinding anyway, to show you how to solve that very point you were working on the day before? And then you end up getting up, doing it and it works right away.
So, take that creativity and overlay it with programming.
With this skill I “create” software: analyzing requirements and specifications, working out the application logic based on the goal, choosing the best code to use, and in the end writing it.
I'm Valentina Benedetti and I’m a programmer. I worked on web projects for 26 years for large international companies in various sectors. Today I collaborate with decentralized teams, in Italian and English. I mainly deal with custom applications in Ruby on Rails, PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Node.js and of course HTML and CSS. First of all the method
Naturally creativity alone is not enough, you need practice and the more methodical it is, the more effective it is.
This is why I recognize the value of a steady improvement as a wise approach for long-lasting and sustainable results.
Like when you want to reach a destination and you know that you need to take one step after another, you don't get caught up in the frenzy of wanting to get there right away.
Also because the value of the experience is consolidated precisely while you are walking.
Here, then, even by developing a custom application, the value is consolidated along the way:
you have the initial planning, the mockup, the workflow, as you proceed you choose whether to use a specific format for a more meaningful report, whether to replace a gradient for a more accessible text, or add a transition for a more intuitive CTA.
Build, hone, optimize.
The specifications need to be refined as we move forward.
While we compare ourselves to each other.
And this makes all the difference in the world.

A creative programmer - I combine communicative sensitivity and experience on the code.
